I'd like to know a specific location of where I can adopt a kitten. Also, if possible, I'd like to know if there is a place where I could adopt a kitten for free. Any details you can give me would be great.

Check http://www.petfinder.com, or find out where your local SPCA is. It's kitten season right now, and I promise you that EVERYWHERE is full to the brim of adorable adoptable kittens.

All these places will charge an adoption fee, but it's to cover the medical care that's been done. On a free kitten..you'll have to get all the shots, worming, FIV test, and spay/neuter. So your 'free' kitten will wind up costing about $200 when all's said and done.

adoption agencies have fees for their kittens since they come with shots and have been seen by a vet ($50-$100). Go to the pennysaver- a lot of kittens to good homes ads there. today there's kittens for $5-$25. just know they need love and attention like we all do.
