No, honey, that is not correct. Wicca is a nature based spiritual path. We believe that Nature has male and female energies, hence the God and Goddess. In my path, I have rituals, and what I do, are offerings to the Goddess. I don't cast "spells" on people, I don't do "black magic" and I don't sacrifice children, virgins, or pets.

Thw wiccan reed reads " Bide ye Wiccan laws you must,
in perfect love and perfect trust.
Live ye must and let to live,
fairly take and fairly give
For the circle thrice about
to keep unwelcome spirits out.
To bind ye spell well every time,
let the spell be spake in rhyme
Soft of eye and light of touch
speak ye little, listen much.
Dosil go by the waxing moon
chanting out ye baleful tune
When ye Lady's moon is new,
kiss ye hand to her times two
When ye moon rides at her peak,
Then ye hearts desire seek
Heed the North winds mighty gale
lock the door and trim the sail.
when the wind comes from the South
love will kiss thee on the mouth.
When the wind blows from the East
expect the new and set the feast.
Nine woods in the caldron go
burn them fast and burn them slow
Elder be ye Lady's tree
burn it not or cursed ye'll be.
When the wheel begins to turn
soon ye beltane fires will burn
When the Wheel hath turned a Yule
light the log the Horned One rules.
Heed ye flowers, bush and tree
by the Lady blessed be
Where the rippling waters go
Cast a stone the thruth ye'll know
When you have and hold a need
harken not to others greed.
With a fool no season spend
or be counted as his friend.
Merry meet and Merry part
bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
Mind ye threefold law you should,
three times bad and three times good.
When mistfortune is enow,
wear the star above thy brow.
True in love must ye ever be,
lest thy love be false to thee.
These eight words the wiccan rede fulfill;
An harm ye none, do what ye will."

It's true Wiccans are into Witchcraft, but there is no such thing as white or black magick. Magick is a tool, like a knife. That knife can me used to cut vegetables for a salad, or used to kill someone. It's the heart of the person wielding that tool that makes it negative or positive, not the tool itself.
And unfortunately, there are Wiccans out there who use magick to harm others. They completely ignore the Wiccan Rede ("An it harm none, do what ye will"), but eventually Karma catches up to them.

Wiccans are into Mother Earth and the power she possess. Yes they believe they can control it, but they don't do black magic, and they don't harm other living creatures. Atleast not real wiccans. You can start as Wiccan, and become something else with the Black Magic.

no, Wiccans are into learning to live harmoniously with nature. They worship what I think they call the "Godess" which is mother earth and they do use spell casting as a positive means to enact positive changes. It is not "black magic" stuff...They truly believe that if you harm others it will come back to you 3-fold.

Most serous true wiccans avoid black magics if at all possable and use them only as needed.
It's only the spitfull teens looking for a way to get back at people that get into wiccan for black magic.

Wicca is a legitimate and recognized religion. The Wiccans do not practice the dark arts they are witches and practice only white magic, the spells are not designed to hurt anyone. Spells are basically prayers.

No, Wiccans law is "Harm none", they also believe in the threefold law, so anything bad would return to them 3fold. So yes to witchcraft, no to black magic.

"An it harm none, do as ye will"
When you ask if someone is a "good" Witch or a "bad" Witch, it is the same as asking someone if they are a "good" Christian or a "bad" Christian.
There are good and bad people in every society and in every religion. When a person breaks the laws of society or the tenets of their religion, they are called to account for their actions. To judge a person as either "good" or "bad" based upon nothing more than their religious preference alone has a label, too. It is called bigotry.
