You are comparing apples to oranges. Watercolor and acrylics are two different mediums with different purposes. I can do some amazing things with both, but I don't prefer one over the other.

Watercolour has to be the single most difficult medium I have ever experienced. When I apply it to paper, the colour just explodes all over the page. It's like panic in liquid form. I'm voting for acrylic.

I paint in oils , but I also painted in acrylic and watercolor. UI think you achieve different effects in water color , acrylic or oils. Watercolors are a very demending medium. you can not make any mistakes because they are almost impossible to fix. I am in awe of anybody that paints in water colors and is good at it, because it takes a lot of practise and time.

I personally prefer acrylic, because you can't paint over watercolor. I like the ability to paint over it!

I don't! You can use acrylic like water colour, and people don't know its acrylic, not the other way around.
But I use acrylic anyway its versitile and quick, which helps because i am not!!

YEAAAH.

Nah. If i wanted the points i think i just sunk right to the bottom. Watercolour is great when you can use it, subtle and oh-so-soft-if-you-dab-and-make-a-mistake-....UGH! That's my answer.
