your problem might be depression with distorted self image(identity crises),i think you should have a goal in your life, you are still young to feel like that.
you have an existential problem!?could be
you should consult a psychiatrist if you can.

I am 18 and I totally feel the same sometimes, especially during the holidays when I don't have study and nothing to do. I thougth that same, I couldn't wait until I finished High School so I can get to living my life and having fun, but it's not the case. I guess the only way to change your life is doing things. Actually making the effort to do things. If you're not in it, you can't win it. There's a great quote that's become my favourite and it's from Wayne Gretsky (hockey player). It goes: "100 percent of the shots you don't take don't go in." I want to be an actor and I live in Australia and I feel like I'm stuck in a rut, so I need and crave drastic change in my life. I feel like I've grown as much as I can in my life and I need to grow more, but I'm being pulled down. So I'm going to move to LA next year to get a feel for the industry. I'm not expecting miracles, but it's a life experience and I know that I'll grow as a result, so I guess what I'm trying to tell you is that you have to attempt to change your life if you expect it too. You can't expect your life to change by moping around the house, you deserve better. Everyone was put on this earth for a purpose and you need to discover what it is you were put here to do. Take up a hobby, take up a sport, don't waste your life. It's a life, and the worst feeling would be getting to the age of 60, looking back and feeling like you haven't achieved anything. You want to be able to look back, know that you've done something with your life and feel proud about it. Sometimes you need drastic changes in your life and sometimes just minor changes, but change your routine. You're still young and even though age has nothing to do with the way you live your life, you still have plenty of time to achieve and dream. Never feel worthless, you are worth it. Never give up hope. Remember, do things, don't just plan to do them and scrap the idea. Just take the leap. life's about exploring and you shouldn't trap yourself at home. Go out. Explore. "Live Your Best Life" as Oprah says. Good Luck!

The first thing that you have to do is to rid your vocabulary of the word "can't". You CAN do anything that you committ yourself to do. Saying "can't" is negative, defeating, and gives you an out. Read on:
As a general rule, people don't like change. Take shoes for example. Most folks prefer to wear old grass stained and torn up shoes than to get new ones. Even ratty bed room slippers are preferred over new ones. Or take relationships as an another example. Many folks will stay in a misrable relationship simply because they fear the unknown changes that doing something about it would bring.
If you TRULY want to change your life, then it's going to require you to take ACTION on your part. You are going to have to get AWAY from what's comfortable. Heck, if you just keep on doing what you've always did; then your results are always are going to be the same. Get DIFFERENT results, DO smething different.
Yep, you -- and only you-- are going to have to summon the courage and committment from within yourself to pick a plan of change and then aggressively pursue it; without stopping or looking back. How do I know that this is the way to go?
In 1976, I was 19 years old, self supporting and employed full time in a job that I loved. I was into drugs though and saw that my life was going no where fast and the future didn't look good at all. It occurred to be one day that I wasn't going to be 19 forever and I was destroying my health with each passing day so; I asked myself two simple questions. ONE: What do you want from life? ANSWER: I wanted off of drugs. I wanted some new friends, scenery, and a job in another place. I drastically wanted a complete 180 degree turn around from where I was at. The second question that I ask myself was: Where can I get all of this change, neatly wrapped in one package. ANSWER: U.S. Marine Corps!
Yep, I got up off my ***, shook off the old me and embraced the new; and went through a change that has lasted me a life time. I became a Marine and the rest as they saw.........is history.
Do I regret my Marine Corps service? No, not at all. Would I do it all again? Yes, but with the Coast Guard or Merchant Marines.
Not tomorrow, but today, select your options, pick one, research it, and if it checks out; make plans to pursue it! And in closing, let me leave you with a few little rymes that may be of some help.
* Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
* Those who can't command themselves, can't command others.
* One of the greatest tradjidies of life is for a person to have so much to offer the world and to pass through it without making a mark on it.
Get up dude! Stand upon the thresehold of your life, see the many possibilities that are before you; and pick one road to travel and just take that first step; the rest will fall in place.
Remember: It's going to take ACTION ! Action by you, not Mom, Dad or anyone else. You must be the one to jump in there and slay this dragon! Now...go do it!

you state your problem very well, bored, lazy, and not wanting change. So what do you want to know, where to get a magic pill to make it all good? Go for a walk. Shut the tv off, for good. Turn off your computer. Do anything, Unless you have a serious mental illness for which you should be under serious mental care your only problem is bone lazy whiny uselesness and the only cure is to be getting involved with the world around you, if it is voluntary work at a local hospital, school, animal shelter or flying a kite it all good, just do something instead of moping about whining about how bored you are with you,go out, bore someone else for a change

Do you go to school? When I was 19 I was enrolled at my local community college and was active in my church -- that gave me a lot to do. If you're not in school, I'd encourage you to go to your local community college -- pretty much anyone can go, and if you do well you can transfer to a good four year school.
A lot of the fun stuff that 19 year olds usually do revolves around school, so I recommend getting involved. I was on my school's student government which was a lot of fun and was involved in three clubs, two of which I founded.
Finally, I wonder if you may be depressed. I've struggled with anxiety and depression and had a period where I was really depressed where my life was like what you described. If that's the case, then I recommend getting a good therapist and visiting a psychiatrist. They can definately help you get your life on track. Hope that helps!

Look at what you've done you brought ALL the lazy people out! Your lives are so pitiful, awww poor you. You are all selfish pigs and you should be dragged to a third world country where you would learn that life is truly what you make it. Start this way: leave mommy and daddies credit card on the kitchen table move out and get a job! You are a waste and worse you are breathing MY air! Thanks for the points I deserve them for the waste of time I spent answering this "big huge riddle to why your life sucks".

Go to the library. Very random thing to say, but it stopped me from going insane from boredom and the monotonous every day thing. Good luck...just remember....inspiration can be found in the most unexpected places. Maybe it's not the library....but you'll never know until you step outside.
