I cut my hair super pixie short and now my husband is hinting that he would like for me to let it grow long again. A part of me feels like I want to make him happy and attractive in his eyes and another part likes my pixie hair do.

OK, I had a typo I mean to write "my hair". Please no sarcastic comments on that.

It is your hair and if you are happy with it short and it is easy to take care of then keep it short. He is not the one that will be washing and drying and brushing your hair, you are. Keep it how you want to keep it. Hope this helps.

OK, guys are notorious for loving long hair on women. I'd quell him with a glare and let him know you'll do what you like with your hair, if it's starting to get on your nerves. Go for convenience and your own feel, not impressing others, but do make it look GOOD - I mean don't shave your head or something for "convenience." There are certain societal rules to follow. Maybe you could get one of those cute layered short cuts up around your face, and that would be a compromise of sorts.

You should wear your hair how you like it. Your hairdo is part of your style and mood, part of the face you present to the world. It's hard to be your best when you're not feeling the way you look.

However, it is important to indulge our men occasionally. You could let it grow for awhile. You can always cut it short again.

I, currently, am fed up with my long hair that I grew out to appease my BF. =)

Whats nice about short hair is, it fits under a wig nicely. As a matter of fact, you could get a wig or two in other colors and long, then try them out at romance time if you know what I mean. Might be fun!

You could get a variety of longer wigs, and make life interesting. You should do your real hair to suit yourself. The only other thing would be to grow it out but wear it up?

I think you should keep your hair the way YOU like it, it is your hair and you are the one that has to wear it everyday. Get some different wigs you could wear just for something different for your husband.

If your hair is strong, thick and healthy and looks very beautiful when they are long then let them grow them long and after some time you will start liking them.
But if not, choose a good haircut which suits your face and get them cut. i am sure your husband will like it if it really suits you.

Maybe somewhere in between? I've been in the same predicament, but my hair is down to my waist and I've only wanted to trim a few inches. He begs me not to.
I still trim, but wouldn't want to cut it short, as I'd always want to look "attractive" in his eyes.
I'd say to do what makes YOU happy, but at the same time, what makes him happy makes you happy too. :)

Why your husband asks you to do this why not to other women. Because deep in his mind he owns you; if you donot do what he asks about your hair, this will be a message to his mind deep that you dont belong to him and what might follow this thought could be of no benefit to your family life.
