Since I'm an Ovaltine drinker AND a friend in Australia just sent me a tin of Milo, I can compare them directly. I drink mine cold in milk. Milo doesn't dissolve well in milk. I had the best results by putting some hot water in the cup, adding the Milo, and letting it dissolve before adding cold milk. Ovaltine, on the other hand, dissolves easily in cold milk.

2 tablespoons Ovaltine has 40 calories, 10g carbohydrates, and no protein or fat.

2 tablespoons Milo has 60 calories, 9g carbohydrates, 2g protein, and 1g fat.

The two products were invented separately, but today both are owned by Nestlé.
