Pectus excavatum is a condition in which the "breast bone" (sternum) appears sunken and the chest concave. It is sometimes called "funnel chest". The majority of these cases are not associated with any other condition (isolated findings). However, some syndromes include pectus excavatum.

A Dynamic Chest Compressor (DCC) brace by itself is useless unless it is worn for the correct daily number of hours according to each period of the treatment and applied along with an appropriate program of exercises. Specialized medical supervision with photographic documentation, periodic adjustments in the brace and solution of eventual complications are essential for a successful treatment. Our method is a medical procedure and we do not recommend non-medical professionals to be in charge of it. There are many details to be explained to the patient during the first visit.

Oh, sweetie, I don't have that, but I used to have chest pain so bad that I thought I was having heart attacks. No joke. I'm 18 now. One night when I was about 13 I woke up and it hurt so bad that I thought I was going to die. I actually started to say my last prayers. Scary stuff. I had tons of tests (EKG, Eco-Cardiogram, chest x-rays, . . . ) and they all came out fine. They told me I had something called "costal chondritus" (I know I didn't spell that right). It's were the joints between the ribs and the breastbone get inflamed and the doctor actually said it feels like heart attacks. The bones pop out of alignment. I guess I'm telling you this because I want you to know that I've felt that kind of pain, too. Anything that has to do with chest pain is scary. I don't know how to help, because they never gave me anything that could help me. I know the surgery will go great. I always remembered this song that I heard at church: "God will take care of you, through every day . . ." For some reason that song always made me feel better. I'm praying for you. I just know everything will be fine.

Where are your parents? Why aren't they helping you with this problem?

If you are in extreme pain, I suggest you be taken to the emergency room. I am not familiar with the condition you mentioned. No one here is a doctor and you need medical attention, go to the hospital.

Take coenzyme q10, magnesium (preferably from foods rich in magnesium e.g. spirulina, green leafy veggies), or a chelate: glycinate or citrate will do, pomegranate, vitamin E (with all 8 molecules), L-carnitine, and get some cardio every day........believe it or not, it will work most of the time.
