Yes, if you strongly believe in reincarnation and the afterlife, and I'm not quoting Prince and the Revolution, the moment two soulmates reacquaint themselves it is instantaneous connection almost at a subconscious cellular level.
You just know! It's happened to me, and Yes I believe! The fact that our paths crossed in this lifetime, and were not meant to be, doesn't mean that the connection was lost, it just means we are aware of each other in the here and now. Being physically together will take another lifetime, till we each learn our purpose.
We still keep in contact, even after 20years, and Nope! we have not exchanged sexual pleasure in those 20years, it's just a pure form of love and admiration, a true soul mate transcends the physical realm. I do know that every time we speak, the love is stronger and much more meaningful.

I didn't believe in soulmates until I found my own. It took more than two minutes for me to realize it, but I did know that she was the one almost immediately. It took a couple days to absorb the experience and accept my feeings because I had been very happy and satisfied being single.
To answer your question, I don't think time is a factor when you meet your soulmate. You two will know at your own pace that it was simply meant to be. It will be your own love story that will happen perfectly to how it is supposed to play out.

Anything is possible. But, first impressions could be right or dead wrong. You have to see what really happens. Your interactions, your thoughts, your goals, feelings, compassion and so forth. People can click for friends and have no physical chemistry. You can always think, could I really marry this person and spend my llife with him/her. What makes him mad? What does he like and that I don;t like? What are some of his bad habbits? Would he change them for you? Would you change for your relationship. Look up the types of love.

I think so. However, its possible that your soul mate would just grow on you. Maybe you aren't ready to see it yet or something, if its not obvious immediately. Maybe too much backround stuff is going on to think about it.

Yes when I met my husband I knew he was my soul mate. And if people say there is no such thing it is because they haven´t found there yet.

I think so. You would need to verify it, but yes, a first impression is always the most powerful.
