This is the reason why I have only posted three questions in this forum. Most of you cannot appreciate the concept of love. If my story had nothing to do with Jesus, would you have been so sarcastic? Has this world come to such a place that love no longer has a place in it? Would you rather I posted something on hate?

Jesus and Peter were only one interaction in Scripture ... All interaction presumes love in some way.

Too bad that Peter went on to preach the law and NOT the grace of Jesus only. How could he go through all that and not believe that he was saved by grace alone? That sin was abolished.

And why am I telling God I am a sinner and need forgiveness, and then in the next sentence admitting that Jesus died for my sins? This is contradictory. If He did, then their is nothing left for me to do except know that He did. If He didn't, then their is still something I have to do - like ask for forgiveness or make sure I follow the law.

The most interesting thing about the story is the number of fish caught; 153. There's a reason 153 fish is specifically called out, it isn't a coincidence. It's closely tied to the popular fish symbol Christians use.

I am not christian but the concept of love is not lost to me. Love in its purest form is the true acceptance of things that be. No matter what it is, what their view is, or where they live. To accept wholly and completely a person or thing is to love it for being. That is the essence of true paganism. Not everyone can understand it. If the creator can do it and give us the capacity to do the same it is up to us to learn.
