Need more info, but so did a lot of people I know, live with the fear that is, some still do, some gave up sodas, and most other things with "ose" ending sweetners... like high fructose corn syrup. It won't allow your body to effectively control cortisol production, or to break it down, I should say. Get on webmd, and look up cortisol + stress. I also started taking vitamins, especially B complex, got my stressful situations - that I could control - in order, and now I can handle the rest. I was a serious "soda-holic." Was starting to loose hair in the front, big spare tire middle... constant stress, anxiety, couldn't deal with the small things.... But am glad to report that I am 100% better. Getting off the sodas was the main thing. Also, get in the outdoors a little everyday. Exercise. Renewing a relationship with God can help you along the way. I did, it helped. Good luck. (If you are a major soda addict, it may take a while, so be patient. It takes a LOT of WILL POWER. When you fall get back up. Once you live a few days without the anxiety, the sodas will be meaningless. You will be soooo glad you gave them up. I am.)
Sorry that some people on here are insensitive, obviously they've never had to deal with the anxiety, or depression. If the things I suggested don't work, you may want to seek professional help, but remember, a lot of the stuff they put you on, causes depression to be even worse. I know personally a girl whose son killed himself because of the drugs they put him on. Always check your dr. out, because ultimately, you know yourself better than anyone.
A verse I held to while on the journey back to my normal self...(Not quoting the whole thing.)
"If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, .... I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and noone will make you afraid....I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people..."
(NIV) Leviticus 26:3-13.
A postcard over my door: "Do not be afraid of tomorrow, God is already there."

Peace is from God. Fear not is the most used command in the Bible.

Are you stupid?? No really. The Devil? Do you think that entities like God and the Devil actually cause you anxiety? NO! Begging the question that they even exist, do you think they waste their time on you? NO! Your anxiety comes from you and some bullshit that happened in your past. YOU have to deal with anxiety, not the Devil, Boogy Man, Easter Bunny or anyone else. It's all on you!! So cowboy up and own your anxiety and deal with it.,,,,Shut up!

It is not the devil... It is your mind frame. You have to tell yourself to be stong and not give in to your fears. This may be very hard to do on your own, but you are not alone.. There are millions of people with the same problem. You should seek counseling.. In the mean t ime, try to exercise, drink water, stay away from caffeineKeep urself busy by watching tv, etc.. Stay strong, and look for help first thing in the morning.

your question is legitimate.. so dont let the egg heads discourage you ... Satan is the ruler of chaos, and the word calls him the prince of the power of the air .. in otherwords he sends out fear and chaos...you know the real nice guy down the street that always waved and smiled and just butchered his family with an axe??? Im no preacher and I wont tell you what to believe.. but he does have an influence on all of us--- some more than others-- read the word.. it tells you not to worry or be afraid.. Satan has no power over you when you keep talking with your Father... there are medical disorders also... dont be afraid to seek a dr's help for your anxiety and fear... and if you desire pray.. ppl can laugh if they want...it helps

No, fear and anxiety is embedded by experience. But, unfortunately, sadly to say, some fears are taught - or influenced.
For example: a mother is afraid of reptiles, so she won't let her child/ren go inside the reptile house at any zoos or even near any reps in pet stores. My fear and anxiety is of heights - by experience. Also, fear can be a defense mechanism. Whatever your fear and anxieties are of, please seek help!

No it's not. The devil is just a concept made up by man to scare people into worshipping. Relax.. take a deep breath. God is with you always, and loves you dearly. There is nothing to fear, but fear itself.

Nope not the devil. Just stupid humanity.

I was like that for a while. For me it was realizing there was something I wanted and I didn't know what it was. I was too used to giving everyone else what they wanted.

It was learning to ride and being on my own motorcycle that cured me. I was close to death - I could not stand it any longer!

Know that you are love. Love has no fear. You can brainwash yourself into being and feeling anything.
