Well relationships differ whether they're friends or not. Some times things don't work out and friendships do last, sometimes they don't and the friendships don't last. But you have to do what you're comfortable with. Maybe they like you too. You never know until you talk to them and tell them. Communication is a gift so use it. Tell them how you feel about them, bring it up casually and see if they're interested. If you think the relationship can last go for it. go ahead and ask him out it will make the friendship grow and be stronger. being friends is the most important part in a relationship. if you want to take the friendship to another level, go ahead and do it, that is what I did and my fiance and I have been together for 5 years now. Take a chance and do it.

It could turn out to be the best intimate relationship you ever had. On the other hand it could also be a disaster but that is only if one of you two is immature.

If you think that this person is at all interested in you, try it, but make it clear, that you aren't about to push them over the line. It might be a little aquward, but don't sweat it! If they don't like you, they aren't the right one for you anyway.

in my experience it doesnt ruin the relationship but it also depends on the type of person it is if the person is sweet and caring go for it but if they are judgmental dont take the chance

it depends, whats your reason for asking him or her out? if you really have feelings for him or her and you cant hide it anymore, then you can tell it in an honest way and ask him or her out, but if its just because you dont have someone else to date so you ask your friend out, TSK TSK TSK ITS A NO NO!!!!
