win rar can compres files for you and split to littel part if compresd files big

that depends on what your file consists of.
An image when stored in jpeg is actually stored in a highly compressed form. If you resave it as raw image data, say bitmap form, you would manage to expand the size.
A text file is possibly saved in ascii form for you. If you resave it in utf-32 form, you pretty much increase the size 4 times.
It much harder to do it for any unknown binary though without damaging the program completely, so I suggest, you dont try that :-)

i thought the whole idea on all these programs was to make files smaller?? why would you want to make them bigger than needed??
ps, image make larger or change format for larger, txt add to it.
