we dont talk much anymore, but sometimes i chatch him looking at me, or staring..and he seems to look at me with sad eyes....and look away, but then other times he acts completely normal and hes all goofy the way he always is...could it be he still has feelings for me....or....is it all in my head (we broke up almost a year ago...but we were each others first love)

He's probably remembering all the good times you had together, and like the song says, the first cut is the deepest. He probably has mixed feelings about the break up now. It's possible he's remembering those strong feelings, and is just confused by it all. You could always talk to him about it and see if he still has feelings for you.

Ok, here's the thing with X's.... they will ALWAYS have some kind of feelings for you. Sometimes they will feel a strong pang in the heart for a moment and other times it will be a fond memory, or sometimes a not so fond memory. It will come and go.

Now, until that person actually decides that they want you back for sure and act on it, it's best not to even dwell on it or get your hopes up. After all, do you really want to wait around for something that is there but may never actually go anywhere?

There will always be something special with your first love, I know there is with mine and we broke up almost 5 years ago. So it's not in your head, but very possible that it is nostalgia instead of desire.
