Yes you can.

File the child support case with the court in the country of the father so that his country's court can have jurisdiction over him. If you file it in your country, how can the court in your country compel the father to give child support. It cannot possibly direct the sheriff of another country to serve its ruling.

Be cautious though, your attempt may backfire. If the standard of living of the country of your son's father is low, you might end up paying him alimony. If it turns out he can't possibly support the child and can barely support himself (which i think is the likely scenario, he went there to find greener pasture in the first place) you'll end up shelling out rather than receiving.

Talk to a lawyer.... However I think that since he has been deported the US no longer has jurisdiction over that, but then again just to be sure check w/ an attorney specializing in family law.

I don't see how the us court system would have any jurisdiction over someone who is not in this county and isn't a us citizen.

I guess you'll be using our tax dollars as your income. What a great system. lol

Go to Social Services and ask for emergency services. There are HUD houses, food stamps and emergency funds. I know you might not want to turn there but sometimes you have to swallow your pride and do it.....they can find jobs and help you get on your feet.

You can't get any money from him. Simple as that.

If you're in need of money you can probably talk to your local welfare agency and see what they can help you with.
