Nah, the world is out to get him, poor soul. Were I him, I'd give serious thought to eating a .357.

I'd say your mate needs to grow up and get used to the fact that he wasn't promised a rose garden the moment he was conceived nor at which point he sprang forth from his mother's womb. No one will understand him unless he makes an effort to help them do so and frankly it shouldn't matter. He can't go about blaming all of his faults and shortcomings on the world. He knows right from wrong, good from bad, healthy and unhealthy, he needs to start respecting himself. He needs to get over people and how they treat him and get into himself and start taking care of number one in life. Given the fact his parents did raise him and didn't drown him in a bathtub or slit his throat and throw him in a nearby garbage heap, I think thats reason enough to show them a little respect.

Here is what the Bible says about it: Ephesians 6:1 - 4 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."
