Yes very much so.I use to be involved with gangs, drugs, alcohol, and girls. Then I gave my life to Christ and he has change my life.because with all the drugs, alcohol, girls, and gangs I still had a void in my life .God changed all that and filled that void, also Its a relationship with Christ not religion.God hates religion that's what the Pharisees were"Religious".Don't get me wrong Jesus loved the pharisees but hated the sin.Think about it give your life to Christ and go to haven.....sounds like a big benefit to me!

Yes I have benefitted from my religion (not my beliefs). I have learned to have the utmost respect for all others and to do whatever I can to make this a better world for all God's children.

Yes, I have, and then my beliefs changed, and I benefitted some more. Then I saw a nasty comment that was left on one of my best answers, and it made me happy that I was not lumped in with that group any longer. Sound familiar?

According to the promises of Torah, God has blessed me in many ways. Seen me through dark times like divorce and burglary. And because my beliefs, many mysteries have been uncovered and old truths long forgotten found again.

Spiritual atheist. I benefited much from my beliefs. I am more able to be brutually honest with myself intellectually and in my heart and mind. If I am more honest with myself, then I am able to be honest with the world.

Being honest with myself keeps me on my spiritual toes---that enables me to be in constant contact with my Conscience. :-)

That is just one aspect of my benefits. My benefits are in abundance.

Yes, being agnostic has allowed me to open my mind and my heart to everybody, not just people who believe the same things that I do. It has also made me realize that there are no promises after this life, so we should live as fully as possible while we have it.

I have a purpose in life that I can say is above and beyond me. I feel joyous in being known by God. I am thankful for the blessings of my life. I am able to suffer joyously because Christ redeemed suffering..
