it says that onan would knew it would not be he his heir so he emitted on the ground, of his brothers wife, instead of into her, but does not say that he did not put him self into her and then take him self out and then emitt which usually if she is right there see he was a coward and gave up knowing that the heir was not his.
Why he figure give this girl a child? Its his brother wife it says the lord then killed him.
Does not how ever say thy lord thy God.
Alot of times men were called lord instead of kings which means also master. How ever the lord is spelled LORD in the bible. If you look at it when it says my lord it usually is spelled Lord.
As thy Lord Jesus. Lord also meaning king.
Lord also meaning master. So you know.
Could it be possible that Judah is called the LORD in the bible? Does not Judah say go now into your brothers wife as a command to Onan?

If some one told you this, then leave it at that. If someone is doing it in front of you & making sexual suggestions, that is sexual abuse. You should avoid that person. Talk to your parents about it.

this is a tough thing to pick at...most people say the bible says it is wrong and uses the only evidence they have Gen 38:8-10...which basically says God killed Onan because he "spilled his seed" on the ground...however actually Onan's brother died and had no offspring and according to tradition/beliefs Onan was supposed to have children with his dead brother's wife...as ordered by God...however during the baby making Onan removed himself and let his "seed" spill to the ground instead on inside his brother's wife God was angry and killed him (since this was an act of rebellion in Onan's part)...basically i feel masturbation is only as wrong as you feel it...i mean if it keeps you from having sexual relation before marriage...but then again the bible says that one should not lust for another man's woman, or anything of the sort...and don't most people masturbating do do that...personally i believe in the end its up to your own feelings or beliefs...i know people that don't masturbate because they feel its wrong...others feel that theyre conscience isnt bothering them so they are alright with it (mind you, they all attend the same church and have the same religious affiliation)

Personally, I wouldn't get involved. It's an individual's own business and nobody else's. By the way, God made us a sexual beings and there's nothing wrong with enjoying the body.

"Hey, we're having dinner. Can you at least wait until after dessert?"

Is he masturbating in front of you? Does he ask for a helping hand? Have conversations with him began with "I just had the best jerk job last night. I was fabulous!"?

Don't tell them anything, it's none of your business. Unless they are doing it in front of you and you are uncomfortable. It's a personal thing and there is nothing wrong with it.

Good grief, even animals masturbate! What's the big deal about it, anyway? Christians are so uptight about sexual matters, it's pathetic.

Just leave them alone....my gosh.
I could have never imagined someone asking something like this on here.

It's none of your business if your friend masturbates or not, so leave them alone. It's normal, anyhow...what planet are you from?

Everybody masterbates. Is your friend doing it in front of you? Or talking about it a lot?

This is a tricky question of morality if it is not adultery or fornication then many believe it is alright.
