From an old song (sorry I can't remember it properly)
Jehovah Jireh, God will provide
Jehovah Shalom, God is peace
Jehovah M'Keddesh, God who sanctifies
Jehovah Nissi, God is my banner
Jehovah Rohi, God my shepherd
Jehovah Rophe, God heals
Jehovah Tsikenu(?) God my righteousness
Jehovah Shammah, God who is there

Which god are you referring to. The God of the Bible or the gods of the Hindus or Buddhist or Muslims... There are many that are called by the title God. The word god basically means a might one, and can and has been used of deities and men and angels

God has only one name, though many titles and descriptions.
It is the fault of the scholars and uninformed that teach God has many names.
His one name is spelled with the Hebrew letters Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey.
Among His many titles and descriptions...
Elohim, description, God who created all
El Shaddai, title, God Alnighty
Adonai, title, my Lord
Eli, description, my God
Father, description, father
But God has only one name, the name He gave to Moses to give to the children of Israel to be a memorial name for all generations. A name that no other 'god' can claim or answer to. A name that will identify the only God that is above all gods.
Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey (spelled with hebrew letters)
Yehu'ah. My God and my King.

there are religions and sects built around knowing the names of god. One is Kabbalah and another is forms of Alchemy. Some worship entirely different gods than you are probably thinking of! If you get any definite answers, let me know!

Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter.
They are the "nonfixed" celestial objects upon which all ancient religions rest.
