Well, My dog absolutely loves baths. But she runs around all crazy because we think she's showing off. But we don't know for sure. But whenever we go outside the next day to take a walk with her. She'll roll over the ground and then we have to give her another bath. So I think personally, that she loves to show off her clean self.

Most dogs don't like baths. They roll around in order to try dry to off faster.

my dog doesn't like to take a bath and that is what she does. the same things happen to other dogs who don't like taking baths. but some other dogs that i know love water. so it depends on whether or not a dog likes water.

When you gave them the bath, you cleaned off all of their beautiful stinkiness (I'm serious; dogs love being stinky; it covers their scent from hypothetical prey) so they roll around in the 'dirt' to try & get their stinkiness back.
True story.

Dogs like to be dirty. After bathing them they run around and rub on carpets, furniture, etc... because they first of all want to dry off and secondly they are hiding the nice scent we just put onto them. In the wild they run around and get dirty and smelly to hide their scent.

My dog does that too. I think it might come from being in water and they are ready to get out. Also It might just feels good.

I think they are very psychotic and adorable when they do this. My poodle does this and I think he likes it personally. He plays alot when he's wet. I don't know. Maybe he's just different.
