Yep. You should only need the vicodin for the first 12 - 18 hours. After that, you should be fine. I had mine removed and he had to cut the gums and stitch them...after 12 hours i was fine.

Yeah, I just had knee surgery and I am on vicodin as well. I tore my meniscus. Its a pain, I can't walk for 8 weeks! Which pretty much ruins my summer.

Yes, totally normal. You probably just had several incisions, and possible even some bone removed.

Yet... that was fun. I got to drink ginger ale, and wear my PJ's all day, and sleep when ever I wanted to, and everyone was nice to me.
