I just had to respond to this question..."Dumb American" should be changed immediately. Don't insult yourself, there are more than enough people standing in line for that job (and many aren't qualified for the position). Basic and general education, for the most part is free. It is even easier for an adult without a high school diploma to obtain a diploma or GED. Most school districts offer adult classes at night, and once completed, you can even move on to community college. And I'm curios to know, if you can't read and write, what are you doing asking and writing questions? In any case, if you're having trouble, there's help out there for you.

Not a guy, but I married a man ,who couldn't read or write,so why wouldn't a guy date you.knowledge isn't all in reading and writing

No offense, but if you can't read and write, you can't get a job. And with no job, no money. And with no money, no money to take guys on dates. Simple enough.
