I don't know how I would treat my maid - foreign or otherwise - since I don't have, nor have ever, had one. If I did, however, I would expect I would treat him/her with the respect I would hope to receive if roles were reversed, as I could have easily been in those shoes. It's only a twist of fate as to who we are, anyway, is it not? I would expect my maid to know what I expected from him/her in terms of loyalty, honesty, and putting a best
"dust cloth" forward, so to speak. Be the best you can in any situation ... some of the wisest words I can think of on how to live life ... or how to treat your foreign maid.

what your gonna treat a foreign maid different just becuase shes from Mexico! just treat her like any other person. Although you might whant to learn a little spanish first.

like I would to another fellow human being, plus extra compassion and understanding because they are forced to work overseas due to economic reasons.
