How can any one be a exorcist if they don't believe in God?

the only way one can hold power over the spiritual forces of evil in the world is to be a believer in the one true God and to be saved by Jesus' blood. if they are, then they have the holy spirit, and Acts 1:8 says, "And you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you."
So, because of the Holy Spirit, Christians, with good faith, have great power over demons.
"Greater is He (Jesus) that is in you than he (satan) that is in the world."

"Exorcise" is the act of dispelling the evil that supposedly took over (usually by the Devil) an idividual. An "exorcist" is the person (usually is a priest) that performs the rite. Exorcism is the actual rite to rid a soul possessed by the Devil.

Now that we hav the terminology out of the way, I think you meant, why can someone be possessed if they don't believe in God. For obvious reason! They don't believe in God, so Satan would have no problem possessing him/her.

How about exorcising the Devil/demon out of them? Well, it takes somebody with unwavirng faith to cast the evil from a weaker body. Who else, but a priest with strong belief in God, which would be more likely to perform the rite.

because god isn't the only Deity and hence the other gods and goddesses can be called instead of your god. Actually seeing that most possessions are fake, I think that all that matters is the belief of the one being possessed.

You forget where possession became popular, it was during the burning times, so any crazy or epileptic person would be considered possessed.

I'm not really undrestanding this question, but it brought to mind the story about the man that cast out demons in the name of Jesus although this man was not a believer. He ends up getting attacked (physically) by these demons.
