the only time it ever bothered me was when they got them tightened....just take a advil before u go because yes its sore discomfort...but no tears..just take a pill before u go everytime and u will be fine..i kinda miss mine lol...good luck and dont worry..

they dont really hurt all that bad it is more discomfort than anything else. the most discomfort is usually the day after they are tightened. when you first get your braces on it will feel weird, but you will get used to it. i recommend having some soft food on hand while your teeth are sore. hope i helped!

if your mouth is really sensitive, you may find some irritation lol, my mom had to wear wax on her bottom braces the entire time!! I guess I have a mouthg of iron, because I hardly ever have problems.

Like the day they tighten them they hurt pretty bad but like advil or w/e usually helps! It's worth it!

It hurts every time you get them titghtened about every two weeks.
The wax they refer to above mostpeople use for a while ntil the mucosa thinkens and becomes used to the brackets rubbing against them.

When you first get them on your mouth will hurt because they are tight. When you go back to have them tightened every month or so they will hurt again..but it's bearable..and milkshakes make them feel better!!!

My sister had braces and always complained after they were tightened, thats it, and shes a wuss
