Ahhhh, the oxymoron-----liability insurance and "cheap." There isn't any cheap liability insurance for new businesses. You will need to check with the Contractors in the area, association, possible union affiliations. Also, you may want to check with any licensure or regulating body for you type of work. They will probably tell you what you need on a "contract by contract" basis. If you are a subcontractor for a general contractor on a job, then you may be able to work under his insurance----but I doubt it.
Errors, omissions, liability, accident, and property damage - depending on how many employees you will have or how many subcontractors you will have working under your policy---I would guestimate at least $400.00 per month----and that's conservative.

go to a few different insurance brokers in your area and let them all know that your checking with other agencies too so they bid very competitively against each other.
