Which is which?

Question

According to the book of Matthew, Jesus was borned in a house. In the book of Luke, Jesus was borned in a manger. Can you find me passages which what they are talking about? Why do they have different answer?

The verse in Matthew to which you refer is...

(Matthew 2:11 KJV) And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Notice what is not there. It does NOT say that Jesus was born in that house, it just says that when the wise men came "into the house"....

Matthew does not say where Jesus was born.

The verses to which you refer in Luke are...

(Luke 2:6 KJV) And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

(Luke 2:7 KJV) And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Notice that it was in a manger in which Mary laid Jesus after He was "brought forth." He was born in a "barn," and laid in the manger. He wasn't born in the manger.

The truth isn't as mystical as Christians would like it to be.

Three times a year, Jewish men are required to appear before God in the place where He would choose. One of these feasts is Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles. (De 16:16, Lev 23:34)

It is this feast when Yeshua was born. As was the requirement, one doesn't dwell in one's home for eight days, but in a temporary dwelling. Though Luke calls it a manger, to a Jew it is called a sukka. It can be a lean-to shed, a tent, a simple upright made of branches. And it was during this time, observing the commandments of God, Yeshua was born.

The reason why different answers is because Luke is trying to describe a Jewish tradition he doesn't know about. And Matthew describes the dialog about the situation, assuming the reader would already know Yeshua was born during Sukkot.

Because, in Matthew when it speaks of the Magi's visit to Jesus, most scholars agree that this was nearly two years after his birth. Luke tells the actual story of his first few days.

Luke focused on the Humanity of Jesus
Mark focused on Jesus as a Servant
John focused on Jesus as God

They have different stories because they didn't call each other on their cell phones while they were at the scribes to go "hey man, I forgot to ask you: Where was our Jesus born? I just want to make sure that your scam is the same as mine."

Jesus wasnt "borned" anywhere, read the New Testament. All the prophets and followers of JESUS have different perspectives on their time with JESUS.

Nowhere does it say He was born in a house.Both say He was born in Bethlehem.Joesph went to Bethlehem because of a tax decree.
