why do girls complain to their "nice" guy friends about what jerks men are these days and there are no nice datable men when their friend is right there in front of them and they say stuff like "he's to nice to date" or the famous "it would ruin our friendship". ? why is this really? i find this as a reoccuring trend.

it depends maybe they r giving excuse for u not to date them as u r not their type or they really value yr friendship & don't want to miss it should u guys date & not work out. either way, u take the stand & ask them out if they say no then it's their loss. make sure u present yrself well at all times & u must be able to handle rejection. it's not u that's having the problem it's them. think of it this way, if they all keep giving excuses then u move on knowing that there is someone out there waiting for u. don't let this current situation make u give up on asking someone out. that is life, all the wrong ppl u meet in life prepares u for the right one that will come. i know it can be so frustrating in the here & now but be patient & should u want to date someone just ask them & talk to them about their excuse if they still do not want to date then u move on. u deserve great things & do not need to put up with crap. u will meet the right one who will truly appreciate all of u. hope this helps & all the best =)

I dated my "friend" and it would have been the best thing ever except HE dumped me . So it goes both ways. He was the "nice" guy and the "friend" and he broke my heart. It has ruined our friendship because I can't go back to being just friends with him now, because I love him now. When we hang out all I want is to be together so I can't hang out with him anymore.
It is a problem trend with women also.

did you ever think to tell them you were interested?I have male friends and I do not think about dating them we ride motorcycles together we don"t talk about stuff like that yes I the only female and know I'm not on the wrong side but we are friends. I grew up with boys not any girls in the neighborhood. maybe I'm just to old I don't remember ever doing that.????

well partly because they dont see their friend as anything more...but if u like a girl and u are just friends say hey i think we should go on a date and reinforce the nice things she wants in a guy that you have and maybe that will work out :)

I'll give you my honest answer but don't take it the wrong way okay. It's because we're not attracted to you, and we only like you as a friend because you're cool to hang out with, but if we wanted more to happen then it would happen.
