are extentions good for your hair?

im thinking about getting hair extensions (thow my hair is already sorta long) but i dont kno if it will ruin my hair?

I would get the glue in sort..and not a weave. Weaves tear the hair out and take virtually forever.

Great Lengths also use chemicals to glue the hair. I'd go the non-chemical route: tiny braids all over the hair (not a weave). Of course, it's better not to have extensions, but if you don't use chemicals, your hair can still be somewhat healthy. Also, a previous answer that said hair extensions "grow" your hair is completely absurd. Extensions are literally extensions of your own hair. They can't affect the biological process of growth, which occurs inside your body!

I thought about getting extensions for my graduation present so I did weeks of researching. Gluing, sewing, all of those will damage your hair very badly. The only extensions that I found to be somewhat safe were the Great Lengths extensions. If you go to their website, they tell you about the procedure.

I am a hairdresser and I have done extensions for a while.

If you want them to last longer get a sewn in ,if there done right they are not as damaging to you hair as everyone makes them out to be...the only time I wouldn't suggest having them done is if your hair is way over processed and brushing it makes it fall out ......otherwise talk to someone that provides that service and have a consultation done

that is hella bad 4 ur hair. the braide in 1 is fine, but the glue one will pull out ur hair. ur hair seems hella pretty already, so don't mess it up!! xoxo
