Peer pressure can ruin your life. Don't worry about what people think of you. You need to happy with yourself, but don't be arrogant about your appearance. If depression is a problem in your life you are lacking very simple things! Exercise, a healthy diet and don't worrying about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. If you have serious deprssion, yes you should go on the medicine. But only use it for as long as you have to. Get to the gym, or at least take a walk an hour a day. Just that can do wonders. Eat lots of veggies and take the time to cook a good meal. You can do it!

No I don't think they affect your appearance... But it just makes you a dependant. Sometimes there's a lot of other ways besides pills to TRY to overcome your depression, but anti-depressants are perhaps the most easiest/hyped up way. If you really don't want to take pills (but thus it will take a longer time) .. You should try to make a mental note to cheer urself up.. Go out with friends... Talk about happier things... Its not easy... Gd luck :)
If that doesn't help, go for the anti-d, and just be urself. Don't need to worry about it affecting ur appearance and all yea?

This is a joke, right?? What do anti depressants have to do with how you look? How do you know by looking at someone if they are on them? How do they appear different? How are you too sexy for them?
You can't "just go on them". It would take a few visits to a doctor for him to determine if you do need them. You certainly should go see your doctor.

no you should not just go on them
the question is everyone who are they?
doctors!!! then maybe you should
friends or people in passing. then no
if you think they are going to make you look ill,
then how ill do you look when you are depressed
your facial expressions change every moment of every day
so what the diff would they really do?
like i said before if the doctor said you need them it'll probley be a good idea too

I'm not sure how physical attractiveness fits in with whether or not you are depressed. All different kinds of people develop clinical depression. That said, this is something you should talk to your doctor about. They can help you decide or recommend what to do.
No. No one can tell that you are anti-depressants by looking at you.

I wouldn't take them if I were you. If you are worried about looking good you may want to consider that in most cases you will gain weight the doctors always say you won't but trust me you will. Besides the fact that you may have really crazy thoughts. You know like thinking that you are really good looking or worse, like wanting to chop off all of your hair. Trust me don't take them.

Are you under the care of any Professional counselor? Your family Doctor would be a better place to ask this question, than this forum!!!

You don't sound depressed. You sound like you have a big problem with your oversized ego. You're shallow and you're not all that. Check with a Dr to see if you need antidepressants. You probably need humility lessons instead.
