In the words of Patti Smith, Jesus died for somebody's sins -- but not mine.
The world would be a much better place if we all took responsibility for our own sins.

I'm not really sure what you mean, but I'll try to answer what I think you meant.
If you are asking if I would I "let" Jesus die in my place then I would have to say yes.
Reason being - not the saving the rear end part
- but that my blood would not be sufficient to wipe away your sins too. And you need salvation too, so, you would also have to pay for your own sins... And so on with every person in the world. However, since Jesus was the Son of God, His divine blood was sufficient for all mankinds sins. Mine yours and all the other people on here, who are disrespecting Him. (Even after what He did for them.) It was prophesied that Jesus would come, as a sacrifice for all our sins. Not that God needed to have sacrifices, but man did. At one point in the old testament, God said to one of the prophets that He was sick of the blood of the animals (Not quoting...) being shed. Man, however, needs to see that something was traded off for their guilt, something of value, in order that they feel justified. Jesus's blood was the only blood that could atone for all our sin.
As for the living God part- He rose from the dead 3 days later, as was witnessed by multitudes of people, and He now sits at the right hand of the Father- whose name is Jehovah. Yes, He is living. And I am thankful that He died in my place. You can have that peace that He gives too, you just have to ask.
Hope to see you in heaven.
*** I am grateful that we now live under the GRACE of God not the law - for reasons that are obvious as you read these answers.

jesus was an avatar [and no, i don't mean avatars like those little little cute graphics used in chatting... hahaha]
so he could live and therefore die
i'm not religious, but i wouldn't mind letting God die for my sins because God is supposed to be omnipotent, so if he dies he could come back and it would be like nothing happen, though i guess that kinda defeats the purpose of his dying...
hmmm... damn, i just confused myself... if god dies, is he able to bring himself back to life since he ceases to exist, if the the answer is no, then god is not really omnipotent, but if he does come back then does that mean that he really didn't die and it was more like he took a nap? [i'm not trying to disparage anyone's religious beliefs, this is a serious statement] and doesn't god NOT die since god is not affected by time and dying would mean that he restricts his existence a timeline by dying... but then again that would not really be dying if he just goes to "hibernate" for a while...
i think if god's really omnipotent, he can't "die" and that's why he needed the avatar, the living god, the living version of himself in the flesh so he could live and then die...
i guess i turned this more into a logic/philosophical question/answer than one from faith and religion
hahaha
edit: going on a tangent here... after seeing what you added... how is it that as$ or whatever 3 letter word you used got blocked w/ asteriscs but when you said f*cked that wasn't blocked??? weird! hahaha

Firstly you must know that Jesus did not die on the cross. He did not cleansed other peoples' sins. He is not the Son of God. He is just a prophet. Jesus wo;; cpme back to this world to clarify the mistakes of the Christians.

The gospels claim Jesus rose again from the grave so that would make a living God.

so many confused and misguided people, and so little time to get them saved. o.k. first, Jesus is God the son, he did die on the cross for the sins of whoever will believe on him, he did rise again on the third day, he is the only way to the father and heaven, and last but not least,
'' every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that jesus christ is lord''
AND P.S. CAN`T YOU GUYS SPEAK USING
DESCENT GROWN UP LANGUAGE AS OPPOSED TO CURSING LIKE A BUNCH OF FRUSTRATED FIFTH GRADERS TRYING TO
CONVINCE EACH OTHER THAT THEY`RE NOT ALL HOPELESSLY ETERNAL VIRGINS

Jesus didn't die for my sins. in fact, he didn't die at all. he is still living in heaven and will come down to kill the Antichrist, then die. he isn't God's son or God Himself. besides, God doesn't die. I'm Muslim, so we don't believe in a trinity. its all simple. we believe in only one god.

No. Why would someone else die for my sins, especially a being that doesn't exist?

What????? Your question does not make any sense, you need to re-phrase, spelling not a big deal but the grammatical part leaves me lost as to what your asking.
