How can I grow my hair faster?

I am a boy and i wanted to have an afro so i can get braids.

You can't make your hair grow faster, but if you eat a lot of protein, you can make it grow stronger (making it appear to grow faster because not so much will break off).

If you live in a hot climate, your hair will grow faster. Hair always grows faster in the summer than the winter. You may also stimulate hair growth by washing daily and massaging your scalp each time. Be sure to rinse really well to remove any shampoo residue to keep your hair stronger and use a conditioner and oil based pomade or hair cream.

It has also been scientifically proven that people who live in areas with a high iodine content in their drinking water have their hair grow almost twice as fast as people in other areas. There is an area in Minnesota and Mexico where this is a natural occurence. However, it is not safe to add a lot of iodine to your drinking water, so please do no try to do that to increase your rate of hair growth.

Never brush your hair when it is wet. Only use a comb on wet hair, as a brush is too harsh and tends to break the strands, thus causing your hair to seem to be growing slower.

I'm a female. For a long time I was trying to get the back of my hair to grow, I finally tried olive oil it; grew and was strong. apply a small amount when your hair is wet after shampoo and conditioner.

well, if you are black and you want braids, what you need to do is wash your hair then oil it, use a good cond. and shampoo..cream of nature is good..brush your hair every day....go to a stylist and have her to twist your hair it will grow out faster that way and when its long enough to briad go for it

Unfortunately there is no way to get your hair to grow faster. You have probably heard that if you get it cut and or trimmed it will grow faster, sorry that is a myth.

Try taking prenatal vitamins...promise it won't make you grow boobs or anything. It makes your hair and nails grow fast though.

trim ur hair slightly yourself at the apex of no moon.......it will surely grow faster .. well no moon falls on 25 june...... try it out
