I heard of stories of men who got a vasectomy and still manage to get their wives pregnant. Can this happen if a female got a tubeligation? I don't want to be pregnant 10 years later.

Technically it is possible, but the chances are literally like one in a million.

Most of the time the stories about men who get a vasectomy and end up getting their wife pregnant stem from the fact, that there are still some sperm left in the vas deferens after the procedure, and it can take a while before they are all cleared out or dead before it is truely "safe" to have sex without a condom. A lot of people probably think that once it's done pregnancy is impossible and have sex without a condom as soon as they get home.

Yes, but It is highly unlikely. Probably just about as likely as an abdominal ectopic pregnancy, which is pretty rare. Maybe tubes can heal a bit too.

Keep in mind, your fertility will be dropping over those ten years also reducing the odds.

You could also still have implantation of in vitro fertilized embryos if you decided you WANTED to be pregnant.

Yes; a friend here had another baby "by accident" after she had this procedure. The risk is low, AFAIK, but it can happen.

That said, I think the surgeons have modified details of both procedures, following cases like hers (and the men whose vasectomies "failed", too). The risk of failure these days would be lower, AFAIK.

Scientifically Answer is NO. But ...the chances are there only if your tubeligation is not perfect ( Which is not possible). and If u ask me, the chances of yourself getting preganant after 10 years is 108% NO. ( Because if u r operation is defective, it will show its deffect in couple of years by making you pregnant..)

Dont worry....Just Relax..and ALL THE BEST
