Why is it that it seems only the Mexicans are the only Country having trouble learning English?

Question

We never hear a phone message asking you to push 3 for German 4 for Hindu But our the closest neighboring Country Where most of the illegal immigrants come from and the same people that protest to become Americans can not seem to want to try to learn.
We ask only that to become an American you have to learn to read and speak English.
Our National language is English The phone message should default to English you should not be asked to defer to any other language or for the U.S.A. to pay for a translator for you because you do not want to obey our laws and learn our language it is also curtsy to a Country that has just let you become a citizen of this Country.
Or is this another law they do not have to obey like coming here legally.
If you wait long enough maybe like ten yrs ago you will get amnesty
Why do we have to change America for Mexicans only or for anyone at all.
We need to take back America for legal Americans
We need to think of America First

Mexicans dont come here to become "Americans". They think the land was stolen from Mexico, and is rightfully theirs. They see us as an occupying force. They don't respect our laws, and they don't want to learn english. They are not here to intigrate into american culture (or assimulate), they are here to take over thru shear numbers over time. A million here, a million there, and overtime they will become the majority in some areas. They will be the power, and americans are too damn dumb to stop them.

Whine, whimper, boo hoo...but we can't deport 30 million...sniffle...people. You guttless wimps!!! why can't we? Why can't we at least try instead of whining like a bunch of sissyboys. We can do anything we put our minds too and nothing is impossible.

Kick those bean eaters out and make them come back legally.

An awful lot of people have decided that America is not worth fighting for, either to save or to keep. Some folk think that nationalism is wrong or outdated.

Some people don't understand why there are national entities with boundaries, since from childhood they have refused to obey, crossing the street when they are told not to, taking other kids toys when they are told not to, lying when they are told not to, then finally taking tax dollars and using them for things they were not allocated for.

The natural selfishness and lack of respect for boundaries leads such people to think they can invade. It may not be a military invasion, but it sure is an invasion, just like squatters moving into your home while you are on vacation. Soon, some people may not think that you have any more property rights. (Of course, THEY will still have property rights.)

America is not infinite and if we let everybody in, there will be no America left for anybody who was born here. Plain and simple.

I have encountered a lot of Mexican people that have learned English and if they haven't learned it all then they have learned more English then I have learned Spanish. The reason that there is always a spanish option on the phone is because more people immigrate here from Mexico than Germany and India and where ever else.

Yes, I think if people want to move here then they need to learn English, not us learn their language but I think that you are being a little ignorant.

There are a LOT of people who come to this country and do not speak english, and there are a lot of americans who travel to other countries and don't speak their native languages. By your logic everyone should just stay home.

Because we accomodate them. Everytime you dial a phone the recording tell you to push a button for English! No other country does this garbage. The may speak more than one language but iit is not thrust upon us as it is here.

they dont learn the language because they dont need to. you got mex radio, t.v.,stores, restraunts ,signs all spanish why bother learning?they are also inherently lazy,Siesta is a spanish word not french or english.Think about this,there are no mex racecar drivers ,runners, racing of any kind is looked down upon in mexico.their lives revolve around eating ,sleeping, making babies, and only working when they must. a great notion,but not very realistic,if we did that our country would be just like theirs is now

Because most of the ones that come here are illiterate. so I guess it is harder for them to learn, or they live in communities that are basically Mexican. Just look at Florida their are Cubans that don't speak English either and they have been here for years.

That means the companies take care about good customers, boycott them, don't buy nothing in relation to Spanish people close you bank account turn off you TV because have the options in Spanish, don't ride you car because read kilometers etc.etc.(Maybe you die) Si quieres la translaciom a spanglish presiona "S".

speaking english is not a requirement. just because you were born here doesnt mean anything. we are all immigrants since we took this land from the indians. and you dont hear them complaining that we're not speaking their language.
