There is a bar near me that has root beer on tap, it is amazing. I'm not 21 yet, so that's pretty much all I can drink there. I've made my own root beer as well, but that didn't turn out so well. I think my favorite huge brand is barques, but I like a lot of smaller more natural brands better. Root beer is probably one of my favorite drinks.
If you boil the sassafras root, you can make a tea that tastes like root beer.

Root Beer is an American thing just like NFL football. I think if you mixed cola with bengay it would taste like root beer.

sorry not a root beer fan but i heard that the root beer float is not bad but i prefer Dr.Pepper.

I haven't really ever tried Root Beer believe it or not. (yeah, doing all your gasping now.) But maybe I have, either way... I am too stubborn to drink it... :P

Yes!! When i was younger i used to actually steal my dad's beer... put actuall tree roots in it... and drink it! Mabye that's why i hated the stuff until i was ten. lol.
P.S. I like IBC better.
