Is that a good day to get married on, I never heard of anyone getting married on a friday.

Thanks everyone, but I thought it was on friday. I misread the calendar, I must be to happy...but what do you all think about the date, I forget what it says about 777 in the bible...:)

Congrats! Just some advice...If you have not booked anything start NOW! So many people that come in to the bridal shop I work at are getting married on that day and many of them are already having problems getting their first choice vendors. The great thing is your guest will always remember the date!

that day is fine. I have heard of many people getting married on Friday, usually in the late afternoon or early evening... some would have a candlelight small intimate style. But don't worry, Fridays are more popular in the last 15 yrs. or so.

yeah lots of people get married on fridays. I guess the meal rates are cheaper on reception halls too, and i have even heard that some wedding photographers offer discounts for "non-saturday weddings" just be sure to be considerate of your guests by not having it too early in the day, cause most people will still have to work. if u have it at like 5, people can usually skip out of work just an hour or two early to make it :)

People can get married on Fridays but its not the norm. Mostly because it is more difficult for your guests to attend a Friday wedding than a Saturday wedding. But you can get married on whatever day you want! =) And often things are cheaper on days other than Saturdays.

If it is during the day and you want friends and family to attend you may be making it difficult for some people to attend. Although with over a years notice and several reminders in between it should be ok. But if you think it would be a problem for them and it is more important for you that they come you might reconsider. Remember there will be 2 sets of friends and family to consider.

I got married on a Friday! It was a beautiful night, I liked it because alot of people get married on a Saturday or a Sunday. I thought it was nice because it was different.

I thought you were asking that since it was three straight sevens whether it would be a lucky day to get married on. People get married all the time on Fridays.

Hey I got married on a friday (5:00 p.m.) and it was great for the guests..... they still had their weekend, and the hall and caterer was 1/2 off since it was friday night ;-)
