Adoption in this country is much harder for the adoptive parents. After going through all the adoption process which can take 18 months, the natural parents can come back and change their minds at the last minute. That is very hard on the adoptive parents. Going over seas and adopting is easier because alot of those countries do not allow the natural parents to change there minds and disrupt the process like here in this country.

Maybe it's easier to adopt from overseas? Perhaps there is more of an abundance of babies available from overseas than from here. I know I would want to adopt from America if I could - but if it would be more of a sure thing I'd adopt from the country most likely able to guarantee me a child. Children are children - doesn't matter where they are from, they need homes and love.

a lot of the children need help in the U.S and everywhere else...But the children in the U.S gets food and gets a good education..But with the Kids overseas or whatever cant get an education or doesn't get good food or good shelter because there so poor..look at Angelina Jolie...she has a son from Cambodia..that's probably because he didn't have good shelter and no education..same with the recent girl she just adopted not to long ago..she's from Africa and parts of Africa is very poor...so that's probably why Americans adopt internationally...A lot of Americans got it better than other ppl.

most people want to adopt infants or children under 2. In the US, there is a long list for these kids. My cousin waited 7 years to get a baby who was 3 months old and that was for an "any race" child. When they wanted a 2nd one, they went over seas (china) to get her and only had to wait 4 1/2 months for a 6 month old, and most of that was paper work time.

Children are children, no matter where they come from. Just because someone wants to adopt from Peru doesn't mean they're not helping a child in need. Think of the lives before you think of the country.

Internationally it is so much cheaper and babies are easy to get, because like in china alot of people give up their girls to keep a boy baby. It is very easy to adopt in other countrys and there is not a long waiting period.

I think(?) it's because it's easier (less restrictions, red tape, etc.) to adopt from many other countries.
Also, they are all children who need someone to care for them. What difference does it really make what country they were born in? They are so young that they will all be Americans through and through when they've grown up.

the u.s. makes it so as that basically some toddlers are waiting to be accompanied. they scrutinize father and mom so demanding and it expenditures lots funds that many midsection class human beings, whether they want to, won't be able to undertake in this u . s . a .. i knew a single female that would desire to no longer have toddlers and he or she became an fairly loving individual and that i be responsive to she could have been a solid mom. yet as a single female (even however she had a solid interest) it would be demanding for her to get chosen. it sort of sucks with the aid of fact its like the gadget feels that is needed have lots funds, and training and all of that to be a solid determine, while there are a lot of human beings of each age and earnings brackets that make great father and mom. the gadget right it is broken.
