a bunch of pigs (as time goes by, more and more pigs are joining) at the edge of river.. and they can't swim...and they are trying go across the river. How are they going to do it?

One pig jumps in the water, then one walks across the land and the pig and jumps in the water. This process repeats itself, until a bridge is formed, and the other pigs cross. Then the last pig in the line crawls up onto the pig in front of him and crosses, and the same with the other pigs until all pigs are across.

As you can see, pigs are dirty and disgusting animals.The head of the pigs is very stupid but doesn't know swimming.He forces the pigs to lay a bridge for him.Those poor pig get drowned and die an there is a fine bridge made of pigs for the chief to cross the river.Easy!

thats kinda easy, if more and more are going across the river, some of them will drown, then the ones that drowned, will sink, so as time goes on, there will be a bridge of pigs

all of the other pigs drink the water until they drown and then the last pig has a shallow river to cross.
OR
the pigs try to cross. keep on drowning and the last pig crosses on the bridge of other pigs.

We all know pigs fart a lot. So the pigs simply have to go into the water and fart out loud. According to one of Newton's laws, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The action: fart will cause and equal and opposite reaction: swim forward. Therefore the pigs will cross the river.

Ok, this isn't the answer you are looking for but they could just walk upstream until they reach the source of the river. If the source is a lake, they can walk around it, if it's melting snow - the source point would be narrow enough to just walk over.
What's the correct answer?
