So my girlfriend won this bet, and she says I have to go to her mom's hair salon and get a 'shampoo and set.' What exactly is that, and what should I expect to happen when I go in for my appointment? I've accepted the fact that she and her mom are going to have a good laugh at my expense, but I want to at least know what I'm getting into before I go in. Thanks!

Well, your guaranteed that they're washing your hair, that is what the shampoo is. A "set" is basically, your hair is in rollers and they put you in the large hair dryers till you are dry and then they style your curls into a nice fashionable style. Good luck and watch out for cameras; that comes out, you know your in for it.

For Crying Out Loud, People,... Don't scare the poor guy!
You'll go to the salon, they'll wash your hair (it actually feels pretty good, letting someone else wash your hair). The "set" means that they'll "do" your hair. When your gf does her hair, there is probably a curling iron, hairspray, maybe gel involved, or something to that effect... At the very worst, you'll want to go home and wash your hair again...

well first they are going to shampoo your hair(self exp.) than a set is having your hair wrapped in rollers and put under a dryer till dry then brushing it out and you gat a classic 30's womans style

First they shave you, then they throw you into a room with four german shepards and a liberal senator. Then you perform Withering Heights, but in mime, and you're graded on a scale of 1-1.5. If the liberal scores higher, the dogs attack.

i doubt they'll do anything drastic coz after all your gf still has to look at you so she's not going to make you look like a knob is she??
plus its a free shampoo and whatever a set is...

They'llwash and dry ur hair. then they'll put it in curlers and put u under the big hair dryer-thingy!!
