Yes you can get up there from Manhattan. You have 2 choices.
1) Train from Grand Central - then a bus

2) Bus from Port Authority - call to find out which bus lines go there

You could also take PATH to tarrytown in westchester and then catch the TZ express to the mall. Or take PATH to suffern and then call a cab ( about a fifteen dollar ride)
