People do sincerely disagree about right and wrong, on some issues; examples: gun control, abortion, death penalty, sexual activity between consenting adults, mercy killing, welfare reform.
I think I know what you mean, but a few examples, would be helpful. You are that a lot of people would disagree with one or both of you premises?

Someone wants to confuse a new generation. It's a never ending battle. In 1776, men held some truths to be self evident. The understood right, and wrong. Today, the word 'rights', has been altered, to resemble something like a privilege. Right is right, wrong is wrong. All rights, are right, and are self evident. The truth is inalienable.
As to our culture, flowers grow in a dung heap. The only sure thing I know of, is the ressurection. It blooms in every generation.

Isaiah 5:20 says woe unto those that say that bad is good and good is bad....he sort of knew this was going to happen. Check what the prophet has to say about what God will do to these people in verses 24 and 25.

It's the end times.
A flood of lies.
A deluge of deception.
An overflowing treachery.
Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
(the end thereof shall be with a flood)
Time to get aboard our ark, Jesus Christ.

because many people don't want to take responsibility for their actions...
2 Timothy 3
Godlessness in the Last Days
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
6They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight.
