I sent email to my boy friend, proposed breaking up since his attitudes toward our relation bother me. In his reply, he appologized for things he has done and let me know the reasons. At the end of his email " but we can be friends OR ...? "
What does he mean by OR...?
What should I reply him ?

Dito on the freinds with benefits i.e. booty call. Don't waste your time, if you want a booty call find one who knows nothing about you ! He is just wanting to keep u on his call for a good time list. Move on sweetie

Don't even bother that "OR."
If you think his attitude was real bad and you want to call it quits, do it, than. If you think he can rebound from that and you can still feel good about being with him, take him back. But don't be afraid or hesitate to dump him since it's YOUR life. If he's not going to help you in anyways, look for the other option. I can certainly tell you that there are a big possibilty of you getting hurt even more than now if you take him back, though. Think about it... Half the people in this world are men. YOU obviously have an ability to grab one of those man and be happier. I'm not ruling out the option that you won't be happy with the guy; he certainly would be the guy for you. So... Think for a minute. Close your eyes and go through everything about your relationship. You'll have an option given to you by your head and your heart. If that's the case, listen to your heart; your heart will lead you and guide you to the true romantic life. All the good hopes and wishes for you, mam.

When he says "we can be friends OR...?" this most likely means that the two of you can either be friends or you can continue to be a couple in a relationship. I'm thinking that he is leaving this open for you to decide. Do YOU want to continue to date this guy or do You want to just be friends with him? Also if it is possible, it would be a great idea to talk to your boyfriend in person or over the phone to deal with this situation instead of sending him an e-mail. Hope everything works out well with you and him.

Be careful. Many guys don't think with the right head. Ask him what or.. means and go from there. Only you will be able to make the decision if you want him back or not. Think about how he makes you feel and so on and so forth,

First of all, any attempt to break up should be face-to-face. What he did was agreed to the break up, since it is what you wanted, but added the "friends OR" to insinuate that he hopes his apologies are good enough for you to be friends OR hopefully you can forgive him. If you like the guy, give him another chance.

call him and talk or go visit and do it in person.... emailing is just not right for breaking up.... but really decide what you want to do, and what you want, and know that when you talk.... then .... go from there... his OR.... mean more then friends, but if you don't want that he at least wants to be your friend....
