I've eaten a couple of spiders for dares, as well as a worm in seventh grade. I was about to eat a slug, but no one could raise enough money.

As for "regular" food, I've eaten frog legs, snails (escargot), and all types of seafood (snails, squid, octopus, etc.). Reindeer and seal sound pretty far out, though.

I haven't eaten anything overtly weird (like goat testicles or something), but I did eat snail at a small cafe in Versailles when I went to France for a high school trip. It actually wasn't too bad...the texture was a little strange, but it tasted nicely garlicy.

I've also eaten grape (I think) leaves with hummus from a restaurant called Port of Beirut. I don't remember what it tasted like, but I remember liking it.

Fried squid is good too.

I ate some blowfish (pufferfish). Like 1 in 100 or whatever are toxic (this may be an urban legend but in general the fish is highly toxic). Yup! Tasted toxic too. Won't be eating that again.

Gator tails, craw-fish, snails, fish eggs, deer,reindeer,...only thing I really didn't like was fish eggs. As a little kid I ate dog food and berries and salt from the cattle's salt lick in my grandfather's pasture...I got in big trouble for my adventurous palate.

Whale meat.

Seriously. On vacation in Iceland, at "Thrir Frakkar" Restaurant.
Called "Hvalkjőt." It was a steak from a fin whale, and I gotta say, it was friggin' delicious! Best steak I have ever eaten.

Ever make it to Iceland, try it out. I swear it is so good, its a good thing I can't get it here! I'd wipe 'em out myself!

Tried snails once. Didn't like them. Too rubbery. Also had cod tongues and cheeks. Wasn't bad if you didn't think what you were eating. Tried seal meat (home bottled). Was pretty good, actually.

I think the most "exotic" foods that I have eaten are:

Allagator tail, and wild boar.

Both were very tasty....allagator was somewhat similar in taste to chicken...boar was gamey

When I was in South Carolina I had the opportunity to taste
gator nuggets, they actually taste like chicken but are more rubbery, kinda.
