Characteristics like a strong private side and a 'poker face' when emotional? Even though this child appears happy and has many friends. This child not talking about deep personal feelings, mind you this child is in grade one.

I am a single mom and am quite outgoing and open. My child is shy and quiet. Happy, and has friends, but she doesn't talk much about emotions.

at six children dont have fully functioning minds and personalities the times of this stage of life should be about fun and games and learning not meds and freakouts about sullenness or mental state unless the child lives with an abusive drunk and or a perv then let the child have fun and dont worry about his mind to have a mind you need thought and some experiances his just a small child and not motzart or gumby sooo lighten up and play with the kid teach him to play catch not serious things

no longer a honest assessment. in case you replace the Utopian international of A&E to extra wholesome in the present day's situations, you will desire to think of a international without ailment, the place no person is hungry, suffering or homeless. think of if God particularly appeared, granted all this or maybe provided each individual or relatives a unfastened domicile that value no longer something to maintain. What might take place? approximately 10 minutes after God became accomplished, somebody might say, "hi, how come that guy have been given the domicile with the particularly solid view", human beings might start up combating, killing one yet another and complaining that God did no longer care. So i assume a honest assessment of God to parents could be if the father and mom did each thing interior of their ability to maintain bleach from the youngster however the youngster breaks into the buddies domicile, steals an ax, and then spends an hour smashing open the cabinet the place the bleach is locked so he can drink it.

No way, I was a quite child when little, but i grew to be loud, and just me my personality shouted when i was in grades 7-12, but never really let out any emotions until i overboarded, but my child on the other hand, was born to laugh and giggle and just be very verbal, she lets out her every emotion- very diferent so know i wouldnt say the parent is to blame god has a child for every parent to either make happy or just give a lesson. but not to blame the parents.

IMO Kids are individuals and they come wired with their own personalities. Parents can influence kids to a certain extent, but only within the limits of their internal wiring. Parents with more than one child can tell you that even with the same enviroment & parenting their children are intensely different in specific ways.

Parents don't get to take all the blame for negative behavior traits (but neither can they claim all the credit for positive ones! LOL!)

Bad charecteristics come from bad parent! Heredity cuases some things in out children like wearing glasses or having certain expressions, but it is not fair to blame anyone for such things. Each person is unique and can be the best that they can be , but, only with a good parent with good parental skills!

A lot of it is learned, but to blame? I am sure both parents have attributes that the other would not like to see rearing their ugly heads in the child. Am I right? ;O)

I mean this is the whole nature vs. nuture debate so it depends on what you believe in, but if you really think there is problems with this child, I would suggest seeing a child psychologist to solve these problems.

I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at, here. Are you worried that his parents tell him (or her) to clam up when it comes to his/her emotions?
