No: I notice everything, including grammar.
" Am I the only one who notices all the misspelled words? And do they know of the 'Check spelling' button? And am I the only one who seems bothered by this?"
I am bothered, because it displays an inordinate amount of laziness in modern thinking; however, it probably stems from that insidious precept launched, I believe, in the 1960s, where parents brought up their children to express themselves freely, never mind how, leading to a lamentable lack of discipline in so many areas!
Grumble, grumble ... but at least people are interested in all kinds of things, as we can see on this site - and learning from the answers!

No,you are not. Capitalization , punctuation, and grammar are also a problem, too,as well as posting questions in the wrong thread.A word of caution about the Spell Check: IT IS NOT FOOL PROOF;there are too many errors in the Spell Check program for it to be considered a reliable source. A good dictionary is a better idea.
I taught school for 20+ years; I did teach spelling, grammar, and phonics.I did not approve of the "Whole Language" movement, which governmental agencies told schools to teach instead of phonics."Whole Language" works when a child has the phonics-based sounds learned so when the child is told to sound it out,s/he knows the letters which make the sounds.I'm getting very tired of people putting all of the blame on the schools;there is something called personal responsibility. It is the students' job to listen,to practice,to do homework,to read good literature so s/he learns good grammar, spelling and writing skills. It is the parents' responsibility to model good behavior,be seen reading the newspaper or book, using the dictionary, using good grammar, making sure the child is doing the homework.

Bad spelling, bad grammar, bad puncutation. To what is the world coming? (Didn't make sense? That's the proper way to say What's the world coming to?) I used to get very irritated at misspellings until I realized that people get very irritated at my bad math skills. Go figure.

Apparently, spelling is no longer a subject for government schools. Neither is "Check Spelling". Irritates the feces right out of me!

You definitely aren't the only one! Bad spelling is a BIG pet peeve of mine! Drives me crazy! If you can't take the time to do it right, why bother?

No! You are definitely not the only one because that bugs me all the time! It probably only bugs or irritates people who do well in school or who are smart. People should all take more pride in their work... It doesn't take that much effort to just press a button.
P.S. - Sometimes I can understand that people are in a hurry though.

I notice it too and it stops me from answering some questions. What annoys me more is the sentence structures, about 50% of questions posted don't actually make sense... it is like we have to fill in the blanks just to understand what they are asking!!
