I AM FROM WASHINGTON STATE AND MY BOYFRIEND IS FROM MASSACHUSETTS HE GOT A DUI THERE AND IS ON PROBATION FOR A YEAR BUT HE JUST WANTS TO PAY THE FINES AND MOVE OUT HERE WOULD IT WORK OUT? COULD HE GET A JOB AND LICENSE HERE AND BE OKAY?

Yes, they do transfer if a prospective employer checks. Also, auto insurance companies will find the dui.

in today's internet-connected world, there's a national database holding info on DUI offenders. If you're in one state and police in another run a scan of your license, the DUI in another state will surface...Your boyfriend's probationary status would come up, and if his license was restricted as a result of the DUI and he was pulled over and not driving within the restriction(s)-like to and from work and the DUI classes only-his license would be taken away, the car impounded and he'd have to face the possibility of his license being suspended.

Usually if you are on probation you have to report each month or so to your officer. Even if you pay all the fees you still may have to report. Especially with DUI cases they test for alcohol/drugs.

If he doesn't show up for probation they will put a warrant out for his arrest and that will definitely follow him!

yes only if he completes his probation and pay all fines.
will show up on his driving history unless he pays
big bucks to a lawyer to have it removed.

he needs his p.o. permission first. And he still must complete whatever punishments the court already assigned.
