I said i think that what the callaways are designed for fits my needs and playing style(trust me i did tons of research on all clubs and their different models) They were saying callaways are great clubs but pings are a little better. what should i do since they are trying to talk me into pings and i want to buy callaways.

Go to the website for each company and attend the next demo day in your area. Have the company rep fit you. The winner should be the club you hit the best shots with. Ask you dad is that sounds fair to him.

Who is going to be swinging the clubs you or your dad!! If you have tried out callaways and pings and you like the Callaways better then get the Callaways. If you only researched the clubs by reading about them and not hitting them then you are doing yourself a big disservice and spending lots of money on a blind pick.

Dont get stuck on just callaway or just ping. Go to a pro shop and hit as many different ones and decide. you may find you actually like taylormade or mizuno better. If you hit them all and still like the callaways then buy them but not before. The only good thing about pings is that they are custom fit to you for free but different companies offer that now. I have Ping G2's that I had custom fit to me and i love them so no matter which ones you buy see if you can get fit for them not off the rack.

Well as long as you get rid of the Wilson GE's. Those were not very good clubs at all. Even with new shafts. I say go with the Callaways. Both times.

pings are querkie, and need to be fine tuned to your swing. they make so many options. i'd get the callaways for two reasons; one-they are great out of the box and forgiving for all sorts of swings and types of players, second-if you don't get what you want, you wont be happy. lastly, if you did do the research that you say you did, then you know the answer already! good luck

Go to a pro shop and talk to the pro. They may even have a demo set of each you could go and hit.

I guess the person who's going to hit them should make that
decision...
