ABSOLUTELY!!! Especially if the waters cold. There is enough good bacteria in lakes and oceans to breakdown urine and even poop from fish, reptiles, animals, and humans... unless of course the lake is really small and you're really big then it might overpower the natural bacteria.

I pee in the ocean every time I swim in it. I think it is okay. There are some lakes in South America that have a tiny fish that can swim into your body when you pee and make you really sick, but in the US it is okay. Hey if a whale can pee in the ocean so can I.

yeah, who's gonna know? The ocean is the world's largest filtration system anyway. Your pee isn't going to contaminate it and cause a red tide. Where do you think the fish POOP?

Yes, an you may also know that five miles off any coastline is considered international waters and there is no law there, so you can pee it up without fear of retribution.

Would you want somebody peeing in your bath water? Things live in there, respect their home. Get out of the water and use a toilet.

Becareful about doing that in some areas. There are, in some areas, certain little critters that are attracted to urine and will even swim into the "hole" the urine comes out from.

why not? everybody else does! even the animals that live there. You're swimming in their waste, so just add to it. It's only natural anyway, just it's probably better to do number two's in a toilet
