Christians have an evil history of massacuring native tribes, addiction to alcohol, centuries of little more then rape, torture and mass murder by the most agonising ways to surpress truth and free thinking and any competition from the church, burning alive after rape and torture people as witches (ie they healed the sick, mighty ungrateful that), without real evidence only say so.
Relgious wars over how to kiss the butt of some non existant being. Oppression especailly over sex and human sexulaity. Sexisim, homophobia which most no sense as gays are good to have around. Sexual repression, attacks on sex ed, contraception then the nerve to complain about abortion.
A whole system of morality based on increasing their numbers with no care for the female or childs welfare.
Irrational thinking and not looking at evidence or reason.
To see what its really about look up the 30,000 totured for life and enslaved with babies torn from arms of begging mothers to be sold 'magdelen laundries' in ireland up to 1996, a documentry 'sex in a cold climate' or 'sex and the holy city' which also shows how christains are responsible for the spread of much of the aids in africa...
Only muslims with the same base are worse in all those aspects...
Not one myself but its the pagan, wicken, new agers that are cool. When's the last time you heard of witch wars, wicken inquistions etc? Wicken run abusive kids homes.
They are not sexist and see females and beauty and sex as a good thing in itself not just for procreation and warmth and love etc.
Or simply think with reason and rationality

It cool beyond description to realize that God loves YOU so much that He sent Jesus to redeem you from your sin debt, AND that if Adam and Eve had not sinned, and none of their descendants had ever sinned, and YOU were the very first person to sin against God--He would still have come for you--just YOU!!! He who spoke into existence all that exists LOVES YOU that much. Now what could possibly be cooler than that?

What is cool?
why does everything today need to be described as cool, or uncool. Religion is, because people need to believe... i don't believe, but i know that others do, and that's fine, what i don't get is why it has to be cool. THe impression i get from this question is that you only want to be christian because you think its cool... does that mean if you thought sex was cool, or smoking cool, that you'd do both of them too?

It's the same as being non-Christian. Personally, I think i'm a little cooler for being a Christian, 'cause I don't waste all my money on alcohol and smokes and I tend to get along with people a lot better just 'cause trying to live a Christ-like life means being nice to everyone!

It's awesome because you know that whatever stupid, foolish mistakes you make in life, God will always love you. There's an intense comeraderie in being a Christian. We hold each other accountable for our sins and pray together. If you're not a Christian, this may sound totally corny...but it's true. It's a thrill and a challenge, a privilege and a necessity.

What is so great about being cool? Cool is worrying about the approval of others before doing something. Cool is conformity, Cool is superficiality, You should have your own values, which provide a basis for your actions.

Jesus Christ never promised to make me rich or give me an easy life in fact he says the world will hate me if i follow him,i don't think that's cool but that's how it is to be a christian.

have been brought up as christian and i think I'm cool ......most religions are similar if it need a tag for being a cool caring loving person ...then OK I'm a christian ..any other tag you would like to add ...maybe a human being ...a good one ....and whatever ...

No being a christian is not cool it is a loving relationship with Jesus and hard. It is good to be a CVhristian but people are going to mock you and harrass you. Jesus was killed and the 12 who followed mostly died for the faith. It is the best thing you ever do bujt it might cost your life and your friends. I hope you make Jesus known but consider the cost

It is cool to be happy and if you are a christian and happy with who you are then thats cool.
