Perfection is boring. I just want a dog or cat that will pal around with me where ever I go and get along with whatever ppl or pets I put her around. So what if it barks a couple times out of line, so what if it occasionally begs, as long as it listens once I finally tell it to stop that's fine with me.

I think a dog is a better pet than a cat because dogs are more active, loving, and just simply sweet!!

I say a cat that was raised around dogs. My cat acts just like a dog except I dont have to worry about letting him out to do his business. Funny thing is that my dog is the one who acts like a cat, he even sleeps in the window.

It depends what kind of lifestyle you live. If you stay at home most of the time, a dog is good because your there to let him out, play outside with him, and give him lots of attention. If you travel regularily, not home more often, a cat is best.
Personally I love cats. I trained my Siamese cat Ming to do lots of things. He's practically a dog. He comes when I call, he can jump up and flick the light off, he sits and fetches. I love him :)

I think cat's if your lazy, or don't want to have to take the dog out on walks and out to the bath room... But if your a person that is not going to mind getting up and takeing the dog out and such, then a dog would be good...

If you are wanting a inside pet or live in apt then I would have to say get a cat.
If you have room for the dog to run jump and play i would go for the dog

My cats names (from oldest to youngest) are Butterball, LittleLady, Emily, Sweetheart, Lucky, Surgery baby, sic baby, Foster, 5toe, sunshine baby, Emily, Poo Poo, Mama cat 1, mama cat 2, Molly, Peter, Tommy, Solo, and new baby.
I guess it's pretty obvious which I like, uh?

Cat. They poop in a box and give themselves a bath. Oh, and no chewed up furniture. You just have to have high self-esteem on your own because they don't give a flying krap if you're there or not.
