The address is way off, my excellent renting history is not there, and yet my (very late) student loans show up multiple times.
Are the agencies giving false reports, or are they that dumb?

There is a reason for this. It's very simple. Credit accounts with small businesses, paying rent, etc. have no reason to report to a credit bureau unless they are not getting their money.
If you had a credit card or car loan with a bank or a mortgage, these accounts would report monthly or quarterly either the good or bad. You are responsible for monitoring your credit report. Credit bureaus do not do this. That is not their function. They only report hat they are told. You need to tell them what is incorrect, obsolete or what needs to be added.
